For seniors on a fixed income, this rate increase is just more than they can bear.

We do not oppose the 80-plus four-year renewal. But we don't embrace it.

But this is not about politics. This is about making sure people in their last days get the care they need.

This was a promise that was made, and we believe that promise has been broken.

It was nice to see that the high-income consumer, which slowed down spending in November, came back strong in December.

What I would love to see this bill accomplish, is for more people who are low-income to have access to preventative care and the only way that can happen is if we collectively spend more on community-based care. The ultimate goal is to make more people healthy, because you want to have people not get so sick that they need more expensive care.
