For people who have never experienced the Kwanzaa festival in the past, I can't think of a better year to take that step forward. Upon their arrival, they will be immersed in a very positive energy, and they will feel good from the inside.

For the past 20 years, I've been privileged to pastor a congregation of people whose focus and heart have been the gospel of Jesus Christ, who reveals God's love for all people and who by the Holy Spirit empowers us to live and to serve in love.

Kwanzaa is a pan-African celebration of heritage and culture and family and community. The principles and the manner of observing the holiday lift up traditional values that are key to our lives.
