For me, the bulimia was about stuffing my emotions. So I stopped suppressing my feelings.

I’ve suppressed my aspirations to forget all rationality and let the moment explain everything, for nothing to be said and everything understood. If only I knew how to let these feelings out.

If I stop having deep feelings or any emotions related to the tragedies the coroner's
office deals with, that's a prime indicator that I need to reevaluate priorities and
think about stopping, ... I'm not there yet.

But feelings can't be ignored, no matter how unjust or ungrateful they seem.

To tell someone not to be emotional is to tell them to be dead.

A feeling is no longer the same when it comes the second time. It dies through the awareness of its return. We become tired and weary of our feelings when they come too often and last too long.
