If I took a cruise ship and went to any of the Caribbean islands, I could meet with a coach or an athlete I know there. That's pretty neat.

I was a high school basketball player and high jumper, so I thought I could help. Basketball was the first sport I got involved in.

One of the things that we have going for us is that 'I'm kind of an old-fashioned singer-songwriter in a really hard rock band.' There haven't been too many combinations of that that really worked. We make good albums with good singles that appeal to a mass audience.
