Everybody always laughs about it, but nobody really ever does (complain). And I think for the kids it just totally goes over their heads.

They wanted to celebrate Chandler's rich history in ostrich farming. It was really the one thing that stood out and made Chandler unique from other cities.

Back in the 1910s, ostrich plumes were really popular in ladies hats and things like that.

These kids are achieving amazing things.

Kids are capable of doing so much more than they think they are. They just need somebody to push them.

At first I didn't think too much of it. Kids, you know, leave, and friends might not know where they went.
