Every time he comes home off deployment, it is a relief. It is really hard for me and our daughter when he is away. It was a great big weight off my shoulders when he got off the plane.

Karl has been away for six months and we've missed him incredibly.

After the last deployment, when the suicide bomber hit his boat, it makes you realize the dangers that are out there. I was a little more nervous when he went back over there.
