Every game it seems like we're taking 10 penalties. It's like 'uncle.' We just can't do that anymore. We're playing losing hockey.

We're taking too many penalties.

We have to keep blocking and [reduce] the penalties, ... We have to play our best game.

I think we have to stay out of the box to begin with. We're taking too many penalties every game and end up having to over-play a lot of guys (on the penalty kill).

You can't win a game with [12] penalties when you have an experienced team, but when you have a bunch of 18-year-olds it's insurmountable.

A lot of times it seems like for some reason if we're not scoring on the power play we don't seem to have a lot of jump or things like that. If you want to be an elite team, you've got to beat the good teams and right now we're not doing that.
