Ever since that day when I was 11 years old, and I wasn't allowed in a photo because I wasn't wearing a tennis skirt, I knew that I wanted to change the sport.

The 14 hard courts at this public tennis center are a real gem in the Pacific Northwest. One of the better-run facilities in the country, they offer several leagues and scheduled events. You also can just drop in and pick up a game.
