Even when they say October, that still doesn't mean for sure. Pitt County Schools didn't have anything to do with it, because the curriculum is statewide.

They will overlap for the remainder of April. That will give them an opportunity to work together.

We hate that this caused any alarm to parents, students and the community. This was not an emergency crisis situation. It was simply a drill.

We have 300 New Brunswick schools participating as compared to 75 last year, and we have 100 per cent of P.E.I. schools involved. P.E.I is the only province with 100 per cent participation, so we're pretty proud of that.

The schools retain a lot of autonomy. We recommend various things for them to do, such as automating their mailing labels. We can design whatever templates they need and they can then access the templates over the network.

It's not a shock that (schools are) overcrowded because you have new houses popping up everywhere.
