Even when I was at Northwestern [Miami], I had always made a point to travel to high-level events. This year, we set the table, competing against top competition. Next year, it will be more intense.

We just never got into the rhythm without Eddie in there. We just didn't have the ball-handling.

We are still learning. We still haven't tapped into the things that we are capable of doing. We are well overdue for a good game.

When we came here to build this program, there were many things that needed to get done. Now, I think everyone is finally on the same page, and that all adds up to something very positive.

We've seen amazing things happen with those involved with Habitat Blitz events. Not only does it change the lives of those who once struggled to find a safe, clean place to live, but it also changes the lives of the builders and manufactures who participate. It certainly has for Whirlpool Corporation. Habitat has become a part of our company's DNA, and so many of our employees have been personally inspired and empowered through working with Habitat.

It's a great time to travel this spring, as many destinations are offering special deals, celebrating festivals and hosting events to attract visitors.
