Even three years later I don't think anybody except those very close to the day-to-day operation of the hospital knows just how close we came to closing down.

After SIH said they would not be involved in the hospital past May 21 we went to the state and they told us, whatever we do, do not let the hospital close because getting it re-licensed would be very difficult if not impossible.
