Emily is a fantastic leader. She has been an honor to coach these past three years and I am very proud of her as she leads this team into the 2006 spring dual season. Our younger players are very fortunate to have someone of Emily's character to look up to.

We don't know a lot about West Virginia. We have restarted that series. Missouri, however, has done well in the Big 12 and beat us last year 5-2. So, we have got a chance for some payback for that loss. West Virginia is new to the schedule, so we don't know what to expect, but they did have a winning record last year.

I think playing a team of that caliber really helped us figure out what we need to work on the rest of the year. We really picked up some things that we know we have to get better at to be able to compete with those type of teams and be successful the rest of the season.

Caitlin is getting comfortable playing in first singles and settling into the position. She played well against Thompson.

It's an honor, especially considering how many great players there have been in the past 25 years.
