Easter can occur in March, April or May. It shifts around because it's based on the lunar calendar.

This means we may end up with a softer March but much stronger April. Easter is one of the biggest retail seasons. It's when new merchandise comes out and families get together for dinner. The later in the year it falls, the bigger the boost to the economy, since the weather is more likely to be favorable.

After a hot March comes April!

The fishing season will now go from April to March.

If the FCAT was to be administered in April or May, then I might seriously consider changing the calendar. But until then, I can't support it.

Some of the Northeast's most memorable snows occur in late February and March.
