Early on I felt he was hitting the ball a little cleaner than I was but I managed to sneak a break and once I got the break back in the second set I really started playing well.

I feel like I'm hitting the ball well. I feel like I'm moving well. I just want to keep getting through rounds. I don't really think I have the luxury of worrying about next week. I have to get there first. There's always upsets, as has been shown so far this week.

You know, I still love the innocent parts of the game. I love hitting tennis balls. I love seeing the young guys do well. I'll still have a lot of friends to watch. I'll miss the relationships probably the most. As time passes, I'll probably miss the tennis more.

Jihad made the foul too early. We were going to try to deny McNamara the ball. We let him get it. Then we were supposed to double-team him as he comes off the ball screen and he split us. He hit a tough shot.

We issued him the card at the eleventh hour and perhaps that's why he managed to sneak in.

I got to play in a crowd, play in Wimbledon finals, be the guy on a Davis Cup team for a while. Those are opportunities not a lot of people get. As much as I was disappointed and frustrated at times, I'm not sure that I ever felt sorry for myself or begrudged anybody any of their success.
