Marc Potvin was one of my best friends in the world. I loved his heart, his courage, his loyalty and I loved his sense of humor.

It's an unbelievable story, ... He became a hockey player by default. He didn't live at the rink, wasn't a rink rat. Goes to (the University of Minnesota) Duluth - not a major hockey school. Everything that happened with Brett is not the standard; it's unique. No way is it the way you picture it with the son of a hockey player.

I still think that nobody gets into position quicker than Brett Hull, not a guy that's played. That's very hard to defense against. You don't have time to get in the lane to block the shot. His release and his shot were just phenomenal.
