During the month of January, we issued a lot of tickets for meter violations. I think it is because we let people park for free during the month of December.

We don't want to be running customers off. So if this is what it takes to get their (the employees') attention, we'll keep writing tickets.

Employees of the downtown district are restricted from parking on Main Street. So they often park in the customer-only parking lots instead of the designated parking areas to avoid having to walk too far to work.

It will print out the location and the time the ticket was issued, so it will eliminate all the excuses.
