Don't get me wrong. Winning the Yates Cup is a cherished prize, but we're looking at the big picture. The final goal is the Vanier Cup.

Winning Ashes is amazing

(Coach Mike) Gillespie expected this. I'm supposed to win on Friday nights and it hasn't been, but we've been winning the series. It's been going well as a team on weekends, but maybe this will turn things around (for me).

We've had a winning program through the years. That will be a better magnet for coaches wanting to come in this area, coming to a quality program that's established and has a reputation of being a winning program.

We have to scrimmage against those guys every day and it's tough. What they do is very complex, there's a lot of motion.
