Don't expect a new government to arrive and somebody to flip a switch to make everything look just fine again. We're at a painful threshold that we need to cross in order to see an improvement later. In the short run, the measures will burden private households.

We can't simply stand by idly and watch democracy and our government be turned over to the commercial interests of the giant corporations who have forgotten where they came from, which is the U.S.A..

Neither party can afford to stand tall for the American people and oppose the takeover of our political government by big business,

It is extremism when corporations corrupt our government, buy and rent our politicians, block our access to the courts, dominate our executive branch agencies, appropriate middle class tax dollars in the form of corporate welfare, subsidies, handouts, bailouts. That's extremism. It's not extremism to have a Green political party movement that wants to put an end to this.

cleanup drive in Washington, to break the grip of the permanent corporate government that makes good people in the Congress not fulfill their own potential.
