Documentary photography has nothing whatsoever to do with art. But it is an art for all that.

You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.

A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.
