Depression begins with disappointment. When disappointment festers in our soul, it leads to discouragement.

When we enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, something wonderful happens: God begins to change our desires, and we want to be more like Him.

God is speaking to us. But are we listening to Him? When our conscience begins to nudge us for whatever reason, we might have this low-level misery or uneasiness about whatever it is we've done or we're about to do. At times like this, it's wise to prayerfully consider whether we're offending God with our actions.

When your soul is resting, your emotions are okay, your mind is okay, and your will is at peace with God, not resisting what He's doing.

When Jesus comes to live in our hearts, the seed of holiness is planted.

As we regularly spend time reading God's Word and talking to Him in prayer, we put ourselves in position for Him to do things in our lives we could never do on our own.
