Defense is keeping us together.

Our defense was the difference for us in this game. We knew going in that they were not a good three-point shooting team. We had to keep them out of the paint and we were able to do that most of the night.

Coming out of halftime, Coach (Dana Addis of Copley) told us to play a little defense, and take good shots. I started to go to the hoop more, and that opened up the floor for my teammates.

It scared me. They started hitting 3s and stuff and playing defense and got back in the game. When they got up by one, I starting getting kind of frantic, and coach had to calm me down.

We got up early and played good defense. I think we frustrated them a little bit.

We've been playing good defense. That was a big part of our start.
