Dare to dream. It is just as hard to live a life of helpless desperation as it is to set a goal, make a plan, to do something of value with your life. In fact, working toward a dream is easier than existing in a nightmare.

Make a plan. Envision each step that needed to make your dream real. See yourself doing it. Envision exactly what you will need to accomplish each step. Feel yourself doing it. Feel what it will be like when it is done. For a thing to be accomplished physically in the world, it must first be completed mentally in the privacy of one’s own mind.

Believe that it can be done. Connect with a source of courage, strength and hope that will give you the power to do it. Share your dream only with those who believe in you, believe in your dream, and will lovingly tell you the truth. Avoid negative people who tell you it can't be done because they can discourage you and hold you back. A good plan is made in a moment of rational confidence to be used in a moment of irrational fear and doubt.

Be flexible. Adjust the steps of the plan as needed to overcome temporary setbacks without compromising the value of the goal.

Consider the price. You can have anything you desire, plan for, and work to achieve. You cannot have everything. The price of following your dream is paid for in your time and energy. Since both are limited and irreplaceable, it is necessary to invest them in things that are truly valuable.
