Daniel would always give me a call and say, 'Hey, my dad and I are going here this weekend,' and I'd always follow them around.

(Wrestling Daniel Foley) is like wrestling a mirror. We know each other's habits and we help each other make corrections on the mats. But it goes deeper than that. (Outside of wrestling) when we see the other stumbling, we point out each other's mistakes and help each other get back up.

It was really exciting. Whenever a wrestler gets onto the awards podium, the announcer tells the audience whether someone is the first state-qualifier or the first state place finisher from a school. I feel really blessed.

We look forward to seeing more of his potential at a future grand prix weekend.
