Cosmoe works on any of the standard filesystems available for Linux.

The only place we still use HP-UX is where the application is not available under Linux. Our goal is to run anything we can on Linux.

There are enough things changing that if you have something that works, you stay with it. For a standard infrastructure server, there just isn't that great a demand on the processor.

No. That's it. The cool name, that is. We worked very hard on creating a name that would appeal to the majority of people, and it certainly paid off: thousands of people are using linux just to be able to say "OS/2? Hah. I've got Linux. What a cool name". 386BSD made the mistake of putting a lot of numbers and weird abbreviations into the name, and is scaring away a lot of people just because it sounds too technical.

I've personally used e2fsprogs 1.05 to make a 54bib partition. That's a lot of bibs. I thought a double chin was a lot, but to need 54 bibs, it would have to be a FAT partition.
