Corning provides a little strength to a very beleaguered sector, but the Street has not been expecting much out of the telecoms. Citigroup was a little weak, but Bank or America evens it out.

Like water rising, the market is trying to find its own level. The rally is not sustainable in the long term. There's still a lot of uncertainty.
