[Comment:] I don’t think anybody is going to be concerned with where we are ranked, ... It all comes down to potential and if potential turns into performance then we can live up to those expectations. If we don’t perform well we won’t live up to them - with that really not being an option.

We must continue the course for the waterfront development and wait for the due process already in place by the city. Waterfront development must continue in order to deliver long-denied benefits to Glen Cove residents.

When you have eight turnovers and you have the ball at mid-field with a minute and forty to go and you have a chance to win the game, that's interesting in itself. It shows the type of effort we got from all the guys and we never gave up, we kept competing.

I felt he handled the elements a little better. He did a nice job and gave us a lift off the bench.

We gave a good account of ourselves, but Reed-Custer gradually wore us down. Pivonka had a good game running the ball. He just kept hammering away at our defense and that wore us down late in the game.

Prior to [the interception], we were just trying to get out of the half. But when we get the pick and the good field position, we've got to take our shots down the field. We were going to take three of them there because there was still enough time that we could have done something. That ended up being a really big cushion if you look at the entire football game.
