Coach Bennett always focused on defense and a lot of man-to-man defense. It's what I grew up playing and what I like to teach to my teams. If the truth be known, we probably don't work hard enough on offense.

We played solid defense and we mixed it up, going from man to zone and back. We ran the floor well and executed our offense. We had Lincoln a little confused and out of their rhythm and they committed some turnovers. We were able to do some good things with the ball.

I'm proud of the way we stayed in there and made a few runs.

I think doing so well last year really helped prepare these girls this season. The girls have really bought into what we're trying to do ... and have really worked hard all year long.

To win four titles in a row, you know they have a great program. It's going to depend on tempo. Whoever controls the pace of the game will probably win.

Both teams played great defense tonight. This was a game that went back and forth.
