China has become one of the largest traders and investors with many Asian countries.

The shift has been toward the former Soviet Union to Asian countries. We're seeing a lot in China now that we didn't see in the past cycle.

I hope China will feel a certain responsibility to convince (North Korea) to take that deal,

like many other countries, China seeks to acquire our sensitive information and technology. We have a solemn obligation to protect such national security information, and we have to do more to do it.

We have options for dealing with this, but there is one option we do not have, and that is the option of simply walking away.
