Children everywhere need stability and certainty. These children need to be shown that their families are going to be okay. Those of us involved in the psychosocial sector are trying to create a safe place for them. And they need to talk about this -- information is a big part of what minimizes fear.

The popular belief is that the children are resilient. If we see them running around, people assume that they are coping. But the loss is tremendous that they've endured. It would be misleading for us to think that they will ever get over this.

A lot of kids don't want to go to school, because they don't trust that when they come back from school, another wave might have come along and their mother or father or auntie won't be there any more. Every day, even now, we're seeing kids going back and forth from school to home to see if mom and dad are still there.

The ones that most rang true to us were in the area of how companies look to stability and certainty in regulation.

Today's decision will allow the approved settlement to provide certainty and stability in a vital sector of America's economy,

It is day by day, but for now (Athens) is our home. We need stability for (our children).
