My Museum creates an exciting new space that encourages children to celebrate their differences. This exhibit will build on the goals of a previous exhibit, Face to Face, that occupied the Lehman Gallery. It will be a place where respect for diversity is experienced firsthand, modeled and taught in order to combat prejudice through critical thinking, empathy development and positive self-esteem.

It really is an exhibit about robots that's hosted by the characters from the movie. This is intended to be an introduction to robots for young children, and we hope by partnering with it [that it] will pique their interest.

Most kids should be familiar with building blocks, and this incorporates robots into the familiar. You get to play with building blocks with a robotic arm that you can control from a distance.

It's important for kids to realize science can be both fun and creative. This really is one exhibit where kids who have an interest in technology can sit down and tinker, and those less interested in technology will still find it appealing because of the characters.
