Canada is being irresponsible by allowing so many seals to be killed.

This is going to be the longest drive of my life. The people outside look very aggressive.

Our challenge has never been convincing the world that it is wrong to kill baby seals for their skins; the challenge has been telling the world that the hunt goes on.

Given that the federal government subsidized the return of the commercial seal hunt (between 1996 and 2001) we think this would be a good investment to see its end.

Heather and Paul's visit to the seal pups will shine a global media spotlight on this cruel and needless slaughter.

It's unthinkable that so many animals will die a horrific death in such a short space of time.
