Canada definitely has a strong program in women's boxing, and we're showing that women are capable, not just men.

Men are strong, women are smart, but no matter how smart, their bellies are always there to betray women and that's their downfall.

I think where men are credited for being strong, women are divas. I just think it's such a cop out.

There's always that stigma of, 'Women shouldn't box,' or stereotypes of what a female boxer should look like. I don't think the men really have to deal with that - to tell people they're a boxer.

The last Pan Am Games in 2011 was one of the best experiences in my career. It was the first time women's boxing was in the Pan Am Games and any major games, and I had the opportunity to box in the first women's boxing fight and then went on to win gold.

Women are men without money.
