(Cairo) is a little more experienced. I talked to Phillips about it. Phillips is perfectly fine with it but I wanted to explain anyway that it didn't mean he wouldn't be the first baseman when I do this with Jason.

Phillips was perfectly fine with it, but I wanted to talk to him anyway. It doesn't mean he's not going to be the first baseman when I do this with Jason, but today, it looked like we needed a little extra energy.

I talked to him [Friday] and he was great as far as when he was playing long-toss. I feel better about him this year than I did last year. Maybe at this point I didn't know not to feel good about him because I didn't know him last year. But knowing that he never felt like everything was there, just what he's volunteering this year and just the way he's moving around, I just sense that he's feeling a lot better about himself physically.

She was a very fine lady, a recluse. We never talked much but just to say hello, that's all.

He's an experienced and capable warden and well respected by his peers. Everyone I've ever talked to who's worked for him or with him says great things about his management style.

I talked to her and she was awake and seems to be fine. She's kind of fuzzy, but is going to be OK.
