By winning in Iowa and winning in New Hampshire, the press carried his message. And by the press carrying your message, that means there's hundreds of thousands of dollars a day that you don't have to spend on your own TV ads.

We came out very flat. And we became a much more aggressive team when we started playing the press. Even if we didn't create turnovers, we wanted to speed up the game. We wanted Central playing at our speed.

They're starting to make programs that can show everyone your cards, if one guy's winning a whole lot get out of it.

It was a gutsy move to bring Thomas back with six minutes left in the game. Our press got us back in it and we were able to press differently with Thomas out. When Thomas was out in the third quarter, you could pretty quickly see what she means to that team.

What you're seeing is a bit of the future. I think you'll see more blending of messages.

Dean went up with ads earlier than anyone else, and drew a lot of people to spend in Iowa. In Iowa, [Dean] is pulling Gephardt into a game that [Gephardt's] not going to want to be a part of.
