By the time of the game, there will be three new hotels within a half mile.

Three games in the Valley in the span of a week (Insight, Fiesta and BCS) will bring at least $300 million into the local economy. That's approaching what a Super Bowl would bring, which is in the neighborhood of $400 million.

To do a deal like this in three weeks is a pretty phenomenal accomplishments. We work fast, and we work in the best interest of our citizens. We were up against other cities throughout the Southwest.

Obviously, we don't have a (major) college in Glendale, that's no secret. But what we do have is an area that is being developed that will be like no other area in the country.

If there's an emergency, someone will come get you. Use this time to think strategically about your work.
