Boys, especially, they do most of their growing in high school - there's skeletal growth, muscular growth. You don't want to mess with that. It's just safer to say no. We need the research. Until then, it's a tough call.

This one I really wanted because most of the boys are leaving the school this year and they too wanted it, this is also an opportunity to put the school on the map.

It seemed like something that would be a win-win both for the high school boys and the elementary school.

In school, I like to hang out with my friends. We like to socialize and talk about what boys like to talk about in high school.

It's really sad. We're seeing a lot of young girls and boys coming in on it. In high school, it used to be alcohol and now its methamphetamine.

Of our 49 boys, 17 are freshmen, so we're still teaching some of the guys this isn't middle school anymore. Some of the freshmen are helping in relays and others are challenging in open events. Six or seven will make an immediate impact. We're talking about kids that maybe lost one meet in seventh and eighth grade, so they're good athletes.
