Both my pitchers battled the last two games and that's all I can ask for.

It was one of those games we knew we should win, but it was a little sloppy at times. You don't want to let a team think they have a chance. This win, especially with the contribution of our bench, builds team morale.

(Carolina had) that stretch run of the (regular season), three road (playoff) games and the injuries. It all piled up for the Carolina Panthers.
