Blocking and pass receiving are going to be important for Jon to sharpen up. Even though he makes good plays for us, there is still a lot more involved than just running with the ball under your arm.

Even though he was uncovered, they were preventing him from getting out and blocking anybody else. It was a good plan, but we also have certain things we need to work on ourselves. That's going to be our focus this week.

How can you maul for 61 pass plays?

He's a very good pass protector. When you look at the game last week, he had 10 plays, (and) he is a guy who should be on the field 25 times a game.

We weren't a very mature team. We got excited to go to a bowl, and forgot to go and try to win the game.

I think we're coming around just fine, and we'll use this week to find out what we need to shore up.
