Bedard did a nice job of getting out of some jams after we had some guys in scoring positions. He threw the ball very well. Against a guy who's throwing well, you need to maximize your opportunities.

We did a nice job on the mound against a deep lineup.

If we sit back and get in a slugfest with those guys, it is going to be very, very difficult for us. So we need to keep creating offensively and I'm sure they are going to pay attention to try to stop that.

This is out of the blue. Everything you could have messed up, we messed up out there. These guys have played terrific defense all year, so it's very uncharacteristic.

Guys who used them are going to have to find alternative solutions.

These guys know what it's about. They know once they get things going offensively, this thing turns in a heartbeat.
