Bailing on a company is just something you don't do.

In open source, you really have to be near the watershed to have an impact on the source code. Customers want to be near the key contributors to the code, not a level removed.

My biggest mentor has been the Benchmark partnership. We have six partners and a flat structure, and everyone is paid the exact same paycheck. It's a team model versus an individual model.

We're on the downward slope of the commercial airplane cycle. But given the rebound the company has been able to make in improving production efficiencies, they should be able to offset the decline in revenue as operating profits improve going forward.

You can look at the different companies that are available. You can compare from one company to another the formularies that they'll pay for and the appropriate co-pays in each category.

The company did not think it was feasible to restructure the deal.
