Atlanta, in the last five years, has created more jobs than any other metropolitan area in the country.

The trucking companies are going to demand higher contract prices. They had a bump in October, clearly not enough. They're coming back for more. That head of lettuce is going to be up another five cents, clothing on the clothing racks will be up another couple of dollars. And you'll just see these prices cascading.

We're going to have high energy prices, a little bit more inflation. Underlying inflation is going to be a little bit higher, but not seriously higher and I still feel good about the overall economy.

It will eventually affect nearly everyone, not just the people shipping packages.

The big hurdles next week are the Fed meeting Tuesday and the jobs report Friday. The market reaction to those events may set the tone for the month and determine whether we'll see a November rally.

How could anyone do this? One job in four private sector jobs depends on exports and the country attracts more foreign investment than anywhere else in Europe.
