At the core of who we are is the roots of those that have influenced our lives the most and the impact of what they have exposed us to is always there and when the foundation is laid with love and commitment, our lives at some point will reflect that of which we have been taught.

The main accomplishment is they made their vows, 'til death do us part,' and they were married for 50 years. That alone in the entertainment industry is quite an accomplishment worth acknowledging. Besides that, they had duel careers in the entertainment industry. When they got started, black people did not flourish.

We try to make choices and do things with our career that make a positive impact. We want to have long-lasting careers, but we don't want to have to give in to the industry. We want to stand for what's right, and you can do that and still be relevant and still matter.

We celebrate our marriage and family. We don't hide our wedding rings.

The students would not only get help with the FCAT they will also get a mentor who will listen and respect them, a true friend.

Because society tends to focus more on the negative aspects of our black youth, like stealing, fighting and underachievement, Students Studying for Success will help to project the positive aspects.
