At school you look to guys and respect them, certainly. But there's no time for that when you get on the field. You have to stand up and compare yourself. I'm really looking forward to it; if you don't, then there's something wrong.

I surely want to win this game, but I have a lot of respect for those seniors at that school and the coaches, ... They're good friends of mine, and I wish them nothing but the best. Obviously I want to win the game, but if we don't win, I'll sure feel happy for them.

I grant men the land, the government, the wealth, all the chances. I accept that you have to hold all the cards, since that's the only way you know how to play; but I refuse to swallow your disrespect.
