At halftime, we just talked about getting after it on defense, so that we could widen the margin.

We knew they'd been a hot team this whole tournament. We had to play good defense if we wanted to win a championship, and I think we did a good job.

But second place (in the javelin), I was happy with that. But the high jump? That was just bad.

We've reached our final goal. Now, we just have to go out and achieve it.

We knew they weren't going to quit, and they didn't quit. We knew we had to get a lead and keep building on it.

We don't really have a star on defense or anybody who really stands out. We're a bunch of guys who play into a system and that's been the key to our success. Nobody is above the system.
