At a young age school came first. It was put in my head that school was first and swimming was second.

I never fell behind in my school work even though it was stressful.

Old age comes on suddenly, and not gradually as is thought.

People quit on jobs. They quit on marriages. They quit on school. There's an immediacy of this day and age that doesn't lend itself to being committed to anything.

But high school is a better age to absorb what's going on there.

We went to school together, so we've known each other since we were young. At age 15 or 16 we started making music and have been making it ever since.
