As you get older, you develop your style. For me, the simpler, the better.

My mother, grandmother and older sister all cooked, so it was hard to get into the kitchen. So I have no talent for cooking. I was always out in the garage with my dad. I have a tool belt. I'm a repair chick.

You don't get older, you get better.

You think you're in control, and you're trying to get that square peg in that round hole. You're frustrated, and you realize that you're not in control of everything. You need to just step back and let God.

If I can help get anybody through puberty, I say, 'Good!'
