As the U.S. population ages and the Baby Boom generation ages, the bigger part health plays in people's lives. Those sorts of expenditures are going to increase.

Just the size of the health care market is enormous -- 14 percent of the U.S. GDP last year. That number will get anyone's attention from Bill Gates on down.

The Internet is new, and on top of that, health-related issues and ventures online are very new. The whole industry is all of nine months old.

As this population ages and gets larger, the impact to the U.S. public health system will be tremendous.

By and large, however, we have not found profound negative health impacts to the rest of the population in surrounding areas, nor widespread contamination.
