As the immigration debate continues, we encourage member of Congress to pass comprehensive reform that protects both our borders and our economy.

We don't have the authority under law to reform CAFE standards for passenger vehicles. We need Congress to give us the authority to do passenger cars.

A high-profile immigration raid like this, as unusual as it is — four days before Congress comes back to debate amnesty again — does smell suspicious. I'm happy to see the enforcement.
