As soon as we played, I saw how much spirit she had. She has great chops, but what I always notice in a musician is a sense of spirit and life, a vitality to the way they play.

I think she'll continue to develop in a lot of different areas of music because there's so much she's interested in. She'll be perfectly suited to do just about anything she wants to do.

We felt we had the power and right to do it and anyone in our position would do the same thing.
