As interest rates have fallen sharply over the past 4-5 years ... we have seen a new batch of (young) investors taking aggressively to mutual funds.

The liquidity scenario remains very good.

If it keeps getting a billion or 2 billion rupees on a regular basis, it becomes difficult to manage. I don't think large caps have any such problems at this point of time.

There has not been interest in the past to go that route. This is a subject that has been mentioned with the state coaches association in the past, but one of the concerns would be financial.

If the past is any guide, the effect of rising interest rates is likely to be felt most visibly in housing markets.

While consumer demand for high mileage vehicles has grown dramatically in the past few years -- with increasing interest in hybrids -- the best way to build cars that get over 100 mpg is still uncertain.
